The Desert Communities Chapter of the worldwide Association of Fundraising Professionals
advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising.The core activities through which the chapter fulfills this mission include education
and training, promoting credentialing, providing resources for fundraising effectiveness,
networking, mentoring, advocacy 
and recognition of philanthropy.

Orange County Rescue Mission Village of Hope 1 Hope Drive, Tustin, CA 92782 The Orange County Rescue Mission (OCRM) seeks a dynamic and entrepreneurial Donor Relations Manager with a deep commitment to the Christian faith. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of individual giving/major gifts experience in a highly impactful nonprofit to join its 10 member development department team. The Donor Relations Manager will be compassionate, respectful of everyone, and a good communicator, with a spiritual maturity and penchant to aspire to be more Christ-like. Reporting to the Director of Development and a manager-consultant for major giving, this position will work with leadership to identify and develop opportunities for donors and OCRM to come together. Specific Requirements Include: Passion for OCRM’s mission and value statements, coupled with a deep commitment to putting their Christian faith into action through service to the community. Christ-centered behavior, treating people with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity at all times, with ongoing involvement in a local Bible-believing Church. Signed acknowledgement of the OCRM Statement of Faith. Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced degree and/or CFRE credential preferred.
