National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is one day set aside each year for the purpose of recognizing and celebrating the great contribution that philanthropy makes to our society. It is an occasion for local communities to come together and reflect on the meaning of charitable giving and volunteering and the spirit that makes such generosity possible.
The first NPD awards luncheon was held in numerous cities across the country in 1986, after President Ronald Reagan proclaimed November 15 as National Philanthropy Day. Today, NPD is celebrated in all fifty states and Canada under the auspices of local chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Join us to celebrate these honorees and the spirit of philanthropy in the Coachella Valley, but be sure to reserve your seat or sponsored table before the event is sold out!
